Transition to Independent Living Allowance (TILA)

The Transition to Independent Living Allowance (TILA) is one-off support from the Australian Government to help young people who are leaving care to meet some of the costs involved in moving to independent living.
If you are eligible for TILA you can get assistance of up to $1,500 in paying for some of the things you need to successfully make the transition to independence.

Telstra's Disability Equipment Program has been designed to provide eligible customers with specialised equipment to access the standard telephone service.
If you have a disability and are unable to access the standard telephone handset, Telstra's Disability Equipment Program may have a product to suit your needs.
Products provided under Telstra's Disability Equipment Program and listed on these pages can be rented for the same annual rental charge as a standard telephone handset.
