Hi my name is Cobi and I will be 2 years old this year, I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and microcephaly when I was 7 months old. As a result of this my mum, dad and sister have been helping me with lots of exercises everyday which are helping me to achieve my goals of one day being able to play football with my dad, play hide and seek with my sister and give my mum a big hug and tell her how much I love her.

Over the last twelve months I have made some great gains, my speech therapist is helping me to learn ways to communicate until I can speak properly. I attend Xavier Conductive Education unit 2 days per week, where I have learnt to sit for 10 minutes with minimal support and to take my first steps holding onto my mum’s hands. I have also learnt that smiling is a great thing to do and I can now use my vision if things are close to my face.
