Hi, my name is Reika and I have Downs Syndrome. Over the last year I was able to attend regular speech therapy and behaviour intervention. This helped me a lot and people can now understand me better and mum said that my behaviour is much improved. This helps me with my school work and to fit in better with the other children when I attend school. I go to two schools: a regular school and a special school.

If I can continue my speech therapy, my mum says that I will eventually be understood by most people most of the time. I love bouncing with Silverton Trampolining. I have very good gross motor skills and with practice and more work with my occupational therapist I will also get better at my fine motor skills.

Team Reika is seeking your help to meet Reika’s special needs this year which are:

• Speech and Occupational Therapy

• Medical and Educational Equipment

• In home Support and Respite

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and you will not receive any additional credit card charges. The Developing Foundation commits 90% of our target directly to Reika’s expenses. The balance is used by the charity to cover administration expenses.
