Hi, my name is Nicholas. I was born on 19th March 2007 which makes me 3 years old. I was in a bit of a hurry and was born 10 weeks early. My mum had a rough time although everything seemed fine after my birth.

At 2 weeks of age my scans showed I had a bleed in my brain and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. It wasn't until I was 10 months old that my Mum and Dad were told I had Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy which affects my arms and legs and my vision isn't very clear. However, I am a really happy little boy who always has a smile and loves to give lots of kisses.

The challenges I face every day are to be able to walk, talk and see clearly. I love to stand upright in my stander and trying to take steps in my gait-pacer. I enjoy my home therapy with mummy every day and rolling around and playing rough with daddy on the floor, we laugh the whole time. I also go to Xavier Early Intervention Program 2 days a week for Conductive Education and to play with my friends.

But most of all I love spending time with my 9 year old sister Kaitlin. She is the best! She reads and sings to me and we go on the trampoline together - the higher the better! She pushes me up the hall in my stander – the faster the better!

Funds raised are managed by The Developing Foundation Inc. 90% of the funds raised go directly to meeting Nicholas' special needs. The balance is used to cover administration. All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and you will not receive any additional credit card charges.
